Build for the future
Everyone seems to think that ’the dream'in this life is having a good, secure 9-5 job, a wife and 2 kids, and a mortguage for a house. I would just like to state that this is not the dream for many of us today, and is in fact the worst thing imaginable. Why do we have to conform to the ’dreams'laid ou for us by the rest of society?
It is in fact a far cry from what many people dream of, and even many people in that situation wish they were not. That is why it is very important to choose your lifestyle choices carefully. It is all too easy for people to get drawn into situations that they are not happy with, and just to go along with it for an easy life. It has happened to so many people, they meet someone they like, and before long it all gets too serious, they are living together, and then things settle into a routine. There is nothing wrong with this if it is what both people want, but often it is not planned out, it just happens.
Once someone is in this kind of situation, their previous plans and aspirations in life are soon forgotten about as they now have too many responsibilities. This is why being single is an important stage of life, and should not be given up lightly. When you are on your own, you have the freedom to do as you wish and follow your desires. If you decide one day that you want to go abroad and live for a few years, there is nothing stopping you. Once you get involved with a serious relationship this kind of freedom is no longer there, and all of your spare money will be going on laser hair removal for your partner instead of things you want.
